A bill before the House Health, Human Services and Elderly Affairs Committee would waive licensing and Medicaid tax rules for a for-profit cancer treatment center that wants to open a facility in New Hampshire. BIA opposes HB 1642 because we believe carving out exemptions in law for specific companies sets a bad precedent and is bad public policy. Learn more
